1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using ChatSolid (the "Service"), operated by Macrofix Software Private Limited ("we", "our", or "us"), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service. These Terms apply to all visitors, account owners, workspace members, and others who access or use ChatSolid.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding agreement. If you use ChatSolid on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.
3. Description of Service
ChatSolid lets you create AI chat assistants trained on your uploaded files, crawled websites, knowledge-base entries, and configured prompts, then embed those assistants on websites or applications. We may add, modify, suspend, or remove features as the platform evolves.
4. Account Registration
To use the Service, you must provide accurate and complete account information. You are responsible for safeguarding your login credentials and for all activity under your account or workspace. Notify us promptly at support@chatsolid.com if you suspect unauthorized access.
5. Permitted Use
You agree to use ChatSolid only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You must not:
- Upload, crawl, or process content you do not have the right to use;
- Use the Service to violate law or infringe another party's rights;
- Submit unlawful, harmful, deceptive, abusive, or malicious content;
- Attempt unauthorized access to the Service or related systems;
- Reverse engineer, disrupt, overload, or interfere with the platform;
- Resell or sublicense the Service except as expressly permitted; or
- Use ChatSolid to build or train a competing product.
6. Your Responsibilities
You are responsible for your Customer Content, chatbot configuration, embedded widgets, end-user disclosures, and the legality of any data you upload or process through ChatSolid. You are also responsible for reviewing AI-generated responses before relying on them and for obtaining any consents required from your own users or customers.
7. Subscriptions and Payments
ChatSolid offers free and paid subscription plans. Paid plans are billed in advance on a recurring basis through our authorized payment provider, which acts as Merchant of Record for transactions. Prices, billing intervals, and included usage are shown on our pricing page or during checkout. By subscribing, you authorize recurring charges until you cancel. Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy.
8. Intellectual Property
The ChatSolid platform, including its software, design, trademarks, and related intellectual property, is owned by Macrofix Software Private Limited or its licensors. You retain ownership of your Customer Content. These Terms grant you only the limited right to use the Service as described here.
9. Data Protection
We use encryption, access controls, credential hashing, and other security practices to protect account information and Customer Content. Our handling of personal information is described in our Privacy Policy.
10. Service Availability
We aim to keep ChatSolid available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service. Maintenance, updates, third-party provider issues, model-provider outages, or other technical problems may cause temporary interruptions.
11. Limitation of Liability
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. AI-generated responses may be incomplete or inaccurate. To the maximum extent permitted by law, ChatSolid and Macrofix Software Private Limited will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, goodwill, or business opportunities.
12. Termination
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, create legal or security risk, misuse the Service, or fail to pay required fees. You may cancel a subscription at any time from billing settings or by contacting support. When your account terminates, your right to use the Service ends, and we may delete associated data subject to our Privacy Policy and legal retention obligations.
13. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
14. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Service will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in India, subject to any mandatory consumer-protection rights that may apply.
